I continued driving until the low gas warning came on, so it would only have one or two gallons in the tank. The last two required me to drop the gas tank.ĭropping the gas tank is not as bad as it sounds. ![]() A few months later the error codes came back so I replaced the purge valve again.Ī few months later when the same codes came back, I decided to replace everything EVAP related, including: gas cap, vapor canister purge valve, vapor canister (carbon filter), and the vapor canister vent valve with solenoid. So I replaced the vapor canister purge valve (under the hood). I replaced the gas cap, but the error came back a few weeks later. ![]() I’ve been having trouble with EVAP error codes (P0442, P0455, P0496). ![]()
